The east side of Allen Street, just south of Houston at a cozy establishment called Bar-B, was witness to the first annual Activity Enthusiast League Winter Wonderland Party.
Leaguers and guests filed in, filling the narrow corridor bound by bar-bellied friends on one side and the array of art-to-be-raffled on the other. The slide display of past AEL endeavors graced the front wall adjacent to our very own Matt Rockman, nestled in his DJ booth with a tasteful selection of tracks to soothe the senses. Our raffle emcee, Scott Teplin, took to the podium, orchestrating the prize drawing. Lucky winners were called forth from the masses while the holiday joy effused throughout the room.
